Michelle was born and raised in St. George, South Carolina, in a town known as “The town of friendly people!” She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University.
Michelle’s philosophy of treating people with respect and kindness was instilled in her at an early age. Her beliefs have been a key contributor to her success today. Michelle believes that anyone can achieve their dreams through determination and hard work.
Michelle is also the owner and operator of 2 Tutor Doctor Franchises locations in Central Florida since 2016. Before Tutor Doctor, Michelle spent the last 12 years working in sales and marketing for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. It was there, Michelle found her love for people and passion for helping others through information and knowledge that could potentially change their lives forever.
Michelle has a wonderful husband, Kirt, and two beautiful daughters, Micah and Aliyah. Michelle’s Family is the reason why she continues to fight each day to grow her business in hopes of having her daughters follow in her footsteps one day.
Mrs. Tamika Kelley Fordham was selected as 2017 NAACP Teacher of the Year, 2017 STAR Teacher, and District Teacher of the Year for Calhoun County Public Schools for the 2016-2017 school year.
Tamika has a loving husband Mr. Kendrick Fordham and they have one super smart and sweet child, Kennedy Fordham. They are the owners of Jolly Jumping (Inflatable Bounce Houses). She is also the author and illustrator for Teach Me the Earth's Atmosphere, Teach Me the Solar System, Teach Me the Water Cycle and Weather, and Teach Me the Faces of the Moon children books. These books have rich vocabulary, diagrams, and images. In addition to . They are a good read for children 6 years and older and each book is standard based.
Tamika attended South Carolina State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child Development in 2003 and graduated with honors with her Masters of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood Education in 2005. She also attended Liberty University where she received her Educational Specialist degree in Leadership with honors in 2008.
She served in the United States Army Reserve throughout her college years and most of her teaching profession. She became a highly qualified Early Childhood Generalist Teacher when she earned her National Board Certification in 2014. She currently teaches fourth grade science and has served as the Science Department and Grade Level Chair for St. Matthews K8 School.
Michelle and Tamika are sisters born and raised in St. George, SC. With the goal of one day owning an event venue, the sisters were finally able to make their dreams come true. To own and operate a business within their community is just the icing on the cake. Michelle and Tamika believe that hard work, good service, and love are the ingredients to a happy business and partnership.
